The Wildfire Business Transition Program provides hands on support to businesses and not-for-profits affected by the 2017 wildfires in the Cariboo-Chilcotin and Thompson-Nicola regions. Affected Businesses and not-for-profits in the Community Futures Thompson Country region are invited to apply for the following grant programs:
Training Support
The Wildfire Business Transition Program provides financial support provides financial support to accompany the increased training needs of businesses and not-for-profits affected by the 2017 wild fire season.
Eligible organizations can apply for up to a maximum of $10,000 in training support as follows:
- Up to $2,500 per owner/manager for self-identified Business Coach and/or self-identified eligible training and travel expenses
- Up to $7,500 for self-identified employee training and travel expenses, not to exceed $2,500 per employee

Marketing Support
The Wildfire Business Transition Program provides financial support provides financial support towards the increased marketing needs of businesses and not-for-profits affected by the 2017 wild fire season.
Eligible organizations can apply for up to a maximum of $1,500 in marketing grant funding with:
- A personal contribution of 25% of the requested amount
