Thinking about running your own business?
The funding of the Self Employment Program (SEP) is provided through the Canada-British Columbia Labour Market Development Agreement and funded through the Ministry of Housing and Social Development, Province of British Columbia. Prior to this recent change the SEP was funded by Service Canada.
CFTC is the Community Coordinator for the SEP for the Thompson Nicola Regional District and Lillooet region. Click here to view regional map. If you are eligible, the SEP can help you with: • Start up assistance. • In-depth training. • Financial Support. • One on one business coaching.
CFTC welcomes your inquiries however participants must be referred to the SEP by your local Employment Assistance Service (EAS) office. Your EAS office can provide you with information on the SEP and any other employment related programming that may fit your individual needs.
